Our Story

The Studio is a family run beauty and education brand built on confidence, community and real opportunity.

Founded by Lian Davey in 2010, what started as a mobile beauty business quickly grew through passion, hard work and a genuine love for helping women feel their best. From working out of a local tanning shop to co-owning a busy salon, Lian built her career from the ground up, learning not just the treatments, but also about the women behind them.

The Studio was never just about nails and lashes.

It was about how women feel.

Lian’s vision was always bigger, to create a space where clients could come as they are and leave feeling like the best version of themselves. A calm, welcoming environment where beauty feels empowering, not intimidating.

As the brand grew, so did the mission.

The Studio School was born from Lian’s desire to support women who felt stuck, unsure or underestimated. Whether they were 19 and starting out, 35 and changing direction, or 50 and finally putting themselves first.

Women who wanted flexibility.

Women who wanted financial independence.

Women who wanted confidence.
